Grass-finished, Natural Lamb and Beef
To produce the highest quality and most capable cows and ewes, our breeding program has selected for females that convert grass pasture and hay into growth and energy most efficiently.
Wonder of all wonders, this happens to be in style again! Now it is marketed as grassfed lamb and beef. Pretty cool that it also happens to be better for your body. Imagine that!
We can't quite qualify to market our lamb as grassfed, per American Grassfed Association standards, because our ewes are supplemented with whole, shelled corn in the coldest stretch of winter while the Bluefaced Leicester and Mule ewes are in mid-gestation. The extra caloric intake is necessary for maintaining condition and growing healthy lambs.
Apart from that our sheep and cattle are raised on grass pasture and hay.

Our lamb is available USDA inspected, whole, half or by the cut. Custom orders are welcome. Please write for more information.
Grass-finished Natural Beef
We will not have beef available until summer of 2009. It will be available USDA inspected, whole, half or quarter. In order to over-winter steers for finishing off of pasture, we'll need an advance order and a deposit for 25% of estimated price. Please write for more information.
We've got lot's of recipes to share!
Our lamb goes great with a Palisade wine. Their Cabernets and other bold reds are an excellent choice. Their white wines are very good as well. Palisade, Colorado produces the best flavored peaches and grapes in the world!!!
